INTRODUCTION

At Martı Simulator ("Game", "App", "we", "our", "us"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. Martı Simulator is a fun arcade game where you control a seagull character to navigate through obstacles and collect simits (Turkish bagels). We do not require an account or any personal details to play. This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use our iOS application, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding your data. This policy applies to all users worldwide and addresses specific requirements under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

DATA WE COLLECT

Martı Simulator collects minimal data necessary for the app to function. We collect:

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

• Game progress and statistics (high score, games played, simits collected, pipes passed, fish caught, power-ups collected)
• Achievements, unlocked skins, and selected character
• Game settings (sound, music, haptics, left-hand mode, language preference)
• Daily reward and quest data (streak count, last reward date, quest progress)
• Ad and purchase preferences (rewarded-ad daily count, ad-free status)
• Local gameplay event logs (stored on-device for in-game analytics)

This data stays on your device and is not sent to our servers. It may be included in your device backups if you enable them. Your coin balance and ad-related limits are stored securely in the iOS Keychain.

Data Processed by Apple Services

• Game Center: If you sign in to Game Center, your scores may be submitted to leaderboards. Apple processes this data under their privacy policy.
• App Store / StoreKit: In-app purchase transactions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of purchases but not your payment details.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email, or contact information
• Location data
• Photos, contacts, or other device data
• Health or fitness data
• Financial information

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data based on the following legal grounds:

• Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the game and its features (Article 6(1)(b)).
• Legitimate Interest: Processing for game analytics and improvement, where our interests do not override your rights (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Consent: Where required, we will obtain your explicit consent before processing (Article 6(1)(a)).

ADVERTISING DATA

Martı Simulator is free to play and supported by advertisements served by Google AdMob.

• Banner Ads: Displayed on the game over screen
• Interstitial Ads: Shown after every 3 games (starting after the first 5 games)
• Rewarded Video Ads: Optional ads that can be watched to earn in-game rewards (coins, revives, etc.). You can watch a maximum of 5 rewarded ads per day.

Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we request your permission for personalized ads. If you grant this permission:

• Your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) is shared with Google AdMob
• You see more relevant ads based on your interests
• Your advertising experience is personalized

If you decline:

• IDFA is not collected or shared
• You see contextual (non-personalized) ads
• Your game experience is not affected in any way

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), GDPR-compliant ad consent is requested through the Google UMP SDK.

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the limited data we have access to for the following purposes:

• Providing and maintaining the game experience
• Saving and restoring your game progress on your device
• Processing, validating, and restoring in-app purchases
• Submitting scores to Game Center leaderboards (if you sign in)
• Serving ads and rewarded ads (AdMob)
• Improving stability and performance through crash diagnostics
• Protecting the game and transactions from abuse

We do NOT use your data for:

• Selling your personal data
• Tracking you across apps and websites without your permission
• Creating a profile that identifies you by name or contact information

DATA RETENTION

We retain data for the following periods:

• Local Game Data: Stored on your device until you delete the app or use the in-app reset option.
• Game Center Data: Retained by Apple according to their data retention policies.
• Crash & Performance Data: Retained by Firebase Crashlytics according to Google/Firebase policies.
• Purchase Records & Validation: Transaction records are maintained by Apple; limited purchase validation data may be processed by Firebase Functions.

When you delete the Martı Simulator app from your device, all locally stored game data is permanently removed. Data processed by Apple or Google (AdMob/Firebase) is subject to their retention policies.

APP TRACKING TRANSPARENCY (ATT)

Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we request your permission for personalized advertising.

What is Tracking? Tracking is the practice of using your device's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) to link your behavior across different apps and websites.

How We Use It: We only use IDFA for personalized ad delivery through Google AdMob when you grant ATT permission. If you decline, we do not access IDFA and request contextual ads. We do not use fingerprinting.

This is entirely your choice:

• "Allow Tracking": You see ads tailored to your interests
• "Ask App Not to Track": You see general ads, IDFA is not collected

You can change your preference at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & SDKs

Martı Simulator integrates with the following services:

We do NOT use:

• Social media SDKs (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• Location tracking services
• Data broker or people-search services

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

Martı Simulator is designed to be enjoyed by users of all ages, including children. We take children's privacy very seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• We do not require any personal information to play the game
• We do not have user-generated content or social features
• In-app purchases require parental authentication through Apple's parental controls

HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA

You can delete your data in the following ways:

• Delete the App: Uninstalling Martı Simulator from your device permanently deletes all locally stored game data.
• Reset Game Data: Go to Settings within the app and tap "Reset Data" to clear your game data.
• Request Data Deletion: Email info@martisimulator.app to request deletion of any data we may have.
• Game Center Data: To delete Game Center data, manage your Apple ID settings or contact Apple Support.

We will process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm completion via email.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Martı Simulator primarily processes data locally on your device. When data is processed through Apple services or Google services (AdMob/Firebase), it may be transferred to servers in the United States and other countries. These providers describe their safeguards in their privacy policies.

SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Game data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's security features. Data transmitted through Apple or Google services is encrypted using their security protocols. However, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Post a notice within the app
• Update the policy on our website
